A snickers bar is one of my favourite chocolate bars, but I wanted to make a healthier alternative avoiding high calorie, processed ingredients. This is what I\u2019ve come up with & it\u2019s simply delicious. It takes minutes to make & can be eaten straight away or from frozen depending on your preference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prep-Time 10 minutes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ingredients<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

4 ripe bananas<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peanut butter, smooth or crunchy. I love a crunch so went with the latter<\/p>\n\n\n\n

High quality dark chocolate (80% cocoa +)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chopped nuts or a few whole nuts to decorate (optional)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pinch of sea salt<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Peel & chop bananas into thirds then cut length-ways<\/li>
  2. Add a little peanut butter onto one half of the banana then pop the other half on top. Squishing down the peanut butter<\/li>
  3. Melt the dark chocolate & drizzle over the bananas or roll & fully coat<\/li>
  4. Sprinkle over chopped nuts & a pinch of sea salt<\/li>
  5. Eat immediately or freeze & eat from frozen<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
