Unless there are one of the annoying people who say, \u2018I don\u2019t like healthy food\u2019 (what is that about, get over it or you will need good health insurance!) I believe there is a magic flavour combo for everyone. You can make these with dark chocolate chips if you\u2019re a chocolate lover, I\u2019ve tried this and they are the BOMB! They last for up to a week in the fridge, but believe me they will be GONE in a flash.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Ingredients<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1 \u00bd cups rolled oats<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp cinnamon<\/p>\n<p>1 x tbsp of chia seeds<\/p>\n<p>3 x tbsp of raw honey<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd cup peanut butter (crunchy or smooth, you choose)<\/p>\n<p>1 x tsp of vanilla essence (optional)<\/p>\n<p>1\/3 cup of raisins, other dried fruit or chocolate chips<\/p>\n<p>1-2 tbsp of either milk, water, rice milk, almond milk \u2013 whatever you like most<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>How to<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Add all dry ingredients into a bowl<\/li>\n<li>Mix in peanut butter, honey and vanilla (if using) so it starts to stick<\/li>\n<li>Add 1 x tbsp of liquid at a time, mix and repeat until it comes together forming a nice tight ball. Too dry and it will be a crumbly mess<\/li>\n<li>Roll mixture into balls with hands<\/li>\n<li>Place in fridge on greaseproof paper to set for a minimum of 30 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Bon Appetit!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Why not try experimenting with;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Shredded coconut<\/li>\n<li>Mashed banana<\/li>\n<li>Ground almonds<\/li>\n<li>Zest and juice of 1 x lemon<\/li>\n<li>Dried cranberries<\/li>\n<li>Ground ginger<\/li>\n<li>Mixed spice for a Christmas feel!<\/li>\n<li>Mixed seeds \u2013 sesame, sunflower, pumpkin<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019d love to hear how you got on, which family member loved them most and see end results!
