Couch to 5K – Beginners Running Program

Where: The Lord Nelson, 78 Charlton Road, Wantage, OX12 8HL or Memorial Park, Manor Road, Wantage, OX12 8DW

Why: A 9 week progressive running program with ongoing group support and motivation.  This program keeps you on track ensuring that all important 5K success.

Personality type: Dedicated, committed, supportive and friendly 🙂

Cost: £7.50 per session + Optional group Park Run on completion

5K – 10K – Intermediate Running Program

When: Thursday Evenings

Start Dates;

May 2020 – Please get in touch to book

Where: Memorial Park, Manor Road, Wantage, OX12 8DW

Why: Suitable for Couch to 5k graduates and regular (once or twice weekly) 5k + joggers wanting to improve their running fitness, distance and pace over a 9 week period. Sessions vary weekly to include hill repetitions, long and short intervals focusing on speedwork, Fartlek training (periods of fast running with slower running) and Oregon Circuits to improve strength and conditioning.

Personality type: Hard working, committed + those who love a challenge!

Cost: £8.50 per session

FRIDAY’S

Group Circuits

A high intensity, 60-minute workout using a variety of equipment. Perfect if your wanting to get stronger & leaner as summer approaches.

When: Tuesday Mornings (Term Time Only) 9.15am – 10.15am

Where: Memorial Park, Manor Road, Wantage, OX12 8DW

Cost: 5 week block @ £30. 8 week block @ £48. Drop in £6.50 per class, subject to availability.

BuggyBeat – Group Postnatal Exercise

When: Friday Mornings (starting back Friday 6th September). Term Time Only, 10.30am – 11.30am

Where: Memorial Park, Manor Road, Wantage, OX12 8DW

Why: A fully inclusive & welcoming outdoor cross training class for mum’s, dad’s, nannies, grandads, childminders, guardians, toddlers & babies. Making exercise fun with your buggy.

Who is this for: ANYONE who looks after a toddler or baby who wants to get fitter, healthier & tire out their little ones at the same time! Everyone & every buggy welcomed. Exercises to suit all ability levels.

Cost: 5 week block @ £25 or drop in £6 per class. Subject to availability.

Everyone attending a class/program must submit a Health Questionnaire & Liability Wavier.

If your Postnatal & attending BuggyBeat please submit the Postnatal Health Questionnaire. The Liability Waiver remains the same as above.
