A little bit faffy but if made in large batches it’s worth the time and effort. These choccy bites are perfect post lunch/dinner if crave a little sweetness.
Prep-Time 20-30 minutes
Ingredients
Pitted dates (as many as you want to make)
Peanut butter, smooth or crunchy
High quality dark chocolate (80% cocoa +)
Chopped nuts or desiccated coconut to decorate (optional)
Pinch of sea salt
How to
- Slice every date in half lengthways
- Add a little peanut butter onto one half then pop the other half on top
- Melt the dark chocolate, roll & fully coat the dates
- Sprinkle over chopped nuts, desiccated coconut and/or pinch of sea salt
- Freeze & eat from frozen
